I WAS A SILENT HILL NURSE!

Finally, after wanting so bad to try to do this for years (and no, I don't mean dress in drag, I just LOVE Silent Hill so much), I finally got to do it!  Woot!!!

Thanks to Karen and Penny for the pictures.

Too bad I couldn't make it all bloody since the Philippines seems to have this thing against Halloween being scary.  I built the costume up between 3pm and 9pm the same night.  Total cost, less than Php1,000.00

Next target?
Either Pyramid Head, Katamari Damacy or somehow be able to cosplay Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth.

Happy Halloween!

Yes, there were really disturbing costumes this Halloween, although few can compete with the disturbing image I found to grace my site this Halloween.

There was a time Colonel Sanders was a viable Halloween Costume.

Scary.

He still does remind me of the Architect in the Matrix trilogy.

Its sad though.  Halloween has become victim to the censorship and control of less open-minded figures.  In some places, scary and frightening has been replaced with manga and anime costumes instead.  Superheroes and fairies are preferred while ghouls, ghasts and bloody victims are not even permitted to walk about the party grounds.

Halloween has little difference now with cosplay parties.

:-(

Give me the bloody, frightening, spine tingling, hair raising spooks instead.
It is only once a year that fear takes the throne.
Why stop it now?

Sighs.
