Got my early Christmas Gift from Rocky!

Seven Soldiers of Victory.

Absolutely an awesome read.  Grant Morrison really knows how to craft a confusing yet cool tale (which nicely comes together before you know it).   Thank you so much Rocky for this wonderful gift.

Yeah, things have been on an upswing overall in the scheme of things.  I'm frankly happier than I thought I would be given the events some months back.  But yeah, I'm now one month cigarette-free and in many ways even more geekily happy.

Too bad someone doesn't quite get it.

But yeah, he's a happy dog.  That's for certain.
Wait til I give him another banana.

Christmas with the Abad Family (Mother side)

Had lunch at Dencio's. After each family shared their own updates on what's going on, Lola Rose shared wonderful food for thought words for each member of the family. For me and my cousin Anton, she reminded us both that heartbreaks aren't the end of everything. And that in life, there's no harm in "collecting then selecting."

Ha!
How's that for a Christmas Message, ey?

Merry Christmas everyone!

Me being me, I hope you will allow me to wish you all a delightfully scary Christmas this year!
Tinsel and glitter may be bright and fun, but sometimes you just want to murder someone!

Hahahahah~!

Merry Christmas to you all!

Gift Giving to the De La Salle Lipa Br. Stephen Rabisa Scholars

That time of the year again!
Sadly, my battery ran out of power real early. Will try to get copies of the other pictures taken that day.

Merry Christmas!

A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas

Rating:★★★★
Category:Music
Genre: Other
Artist:Kristin Chenoweth
If you're like me who still laments the cancellation of Pushing Daisies, you can still get a small hint of it this Christmas by listening to Kristin Chenoweth's Christmas album called "A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas."

With truly lovely classic songs such as I'll be Home for Christmas, Silver bells, and What Child is This as well as less popular songs such as Christmas Island, the Christmas Waltz, and Sleigh Ride/Marshmallow World, you will definitely find yourself feeling the spirit of the season while visualizing possible scenes that could have been happening in Pushing Daisies for each song. Kristin approaches the music with a whimsical heartfelt honesty and yet successfully injects in a touch of country and a dash of gospel.

So check it out if you want to enjoy this Christmas season with something new to tickle your heart.

Animo Dugong Bedre Pajama Xmas party!

The Greenies celebrate the 2008 Christmas with a Pajama Party! Siyempre, ako since I didn't have pajamas, I opted to go in Boxer shorts. Unfortunately, since I had to rush to pick up the gang, I left my boxers at home. Thankfully, I spotted a nearby tiangge (confirmed by others nearby) so I made my way there and found a nice Old Navy muscle tee and a pair of boxers to wear.

Merry Christmas!!
Never again! Hahhahhaha!

Oh, nagkabotohan sa party. Di ko inexpect.
See na lang the pictures on what I won.
:-) I guess ganyan lang talaga ang male bonding.

*As usual, Sonny had free reign with my camera.

THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN

Every Christmas, my family and my dad's classmates of DSLS host a Christmas party for the scholars we have been financing through high school at La Salle Lipa.  Last year, a number of you were kind enough to help out and many others wanted to but just admitted they heard about it too late to help.

So here's the early call then:

We currently have one batch of successful graduates!

And we have around 30 new students (a number of them for each batch of High school) who would need our help!

So to all of you out there, if you want to help out in making Christmas again special for these kids, do let me know.

It doesn't take much.  Either just add to the cash fund which I promise to use to purchase stuff for the kids and their families (last year, we were able to ensure each of them had Spaghetti for Noche Buena, among other things) or simply plan out a donation of ANYTHING for up to 30 individuals.  And yes, I will say now it will be far easier for you to simply donate.

30 notebooks?
30 planners?
30 cans of corned beef?
30 pouches of juice?

I'm excited hoping to hear from the first batch of graduates too.  Will let you know when I get more information.

Thanks people!
