Weekends Smile at me
The weekend went very well.
The one-shot roleplaying game session I held in Gamer's Shop, Greenhills went very well. Many thanks to my players (Jacob, J, Mark and Luis) for a wonderful session. It was the second session so far for Memento Mori, my tribute for the World of Darkness of White Wolf Gaming Studios.

Had a wonderful, though short, time with my parents too. Talked about life, future, work, and even trips to Boracay and the United States over lunch. Lunch was yummy! Inihaw, Okra and porkchops! Yum!

And for the evening, I finally got a copy of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon for the PS2 (4 out of 10 stars sadly), as well as DVDs of BELOW, Charlie's Angels 2 and a VCD copy of KILL BILL.


May this be a good sign for the rest of the week to be great!

I hate people who can't admit their mistakes.

A friend of mine emailled a cost estimate and time table for a shoot we're supposed to work on. The email was CC:ed to our boss and the supervisor. The supervisor, perhaps not taking the time needed to read it properly, complained that writing 17/20 means 17 and 20. Jesus... doesn't she know the basics that a slash means OR!?!?!?! Sheesh... . I mean, and/or means AND or OR right? Not And and Or.

FINALLY! I have been looking all over for this soundtrack for nearly two years now! Thank you Seth for finding it! Well, the best track for me is track 2 of the first disk. KINGDOM Orchestra Instrumental gives one a clear feel of the epic-range of emotions and things you have to achieve in the game. Ah... if only they'd release the sequel soon enough.

Man Kills Friend, Drinks Blood

LONDON (Reuters) - A Scottish man obsessed with vampires has been jailed for life after killing his best friend, drinking his blood and eating part of his skull, British media reported Thursday.

Allan Menzies, 22, told the High Court in Edinburgh, Scotland, he had made a pact with a female vampire from 2002 horror film "Queen of the Damned" and stabbed 21-year-old Thomas McKendrick to death in the hope of becoming immortal.

Menzies said the film's lead character Akasha, played by the late U.S. singer Aaliyah, had come to his home and told him to carry out the murder.

Menzies was found guilty of murder after his offer to plead guilty on the grounds of diminished responsibility was rejected.

The judge Wednesday sentenced Menzies to serve at least 18 years without parole, calling him an "evil, violent and highly dangerous man who is not fit to be at liberty."
