The Red Sign was one of those books that you'd totally hate if you didn't get deep into the metaplot of Vampire the Masquerade. I felt, however, that the story the book shared could have been much more compelling if it tied things to the Fall of Constantinople (and that certain Toreador who looks like a stained glass window and his killer). But that's just me.
