Nobody Does It Better Lyrics:
(carole bayer sager/marvin hamlisch)

Nobody does it better, makes me feel sad for the rest,
Nobody does it half as good as you, baby, you’re the best.
I wasn’t lookin’ but somehow you found me.
I tried to hide from your love light,
But like heaven above me, the spy who loved me,
Is keeping all my secrets safe tonight.

Nobody does it better, sometimes I wish someone could.
Nobody does it quite the way you do. did you have to be so good?
The way that you hold me, whenever you hold me,
There’s some kind of magic inside you,
That keeps me from runnin’, but just keep it comin’,
How’d you learn to do the things you do?

And nobody does it better, makes me feel sad for the rest.
Nobody does it half as good as you.
Baby, baby, baby you’re the best!

-----------

Shit happens I guess. Story of my life.
Time to get used to it again.

"If you have love in your life, it can make up for a great many things that are missing. If you don't have love in your life, no matter what else there is, it's not enough." Ann Landers quotes

  1. This song just screams "Bridget Jones" to me. I love it!

  2. You can find it in the OST of Mr. and Mrs. Smith alongside other really good songs like Soft Cell's rendition of Tainted Love, Voodoo Glow Skull's I Used to Love Her and Nouvelle Vega's rendition of the 80s classic I'll Melt With You.

  3. The only other time it was used in a movie I recall was James Bond's "The Spy Who Loved Me."

Funny, you never mentioned anything when I was singing it.

I didn't want to interrupt your song moment with Sam. :-)
