Day 249 of 365 Days of Geeky Happiness

While most hated this film when it came out in the Philippines, I loved it because I was in Los Angeles when it was first screened.  In Los Angeles, there was no talk about it being an award-winning film.  Instead, I was exposed to MISSING posters, mock articles on newspapers about the filmmakers having vanished and the like.  So the atmosphere of seeing the film was that of seeing some actual documentary about the people who vanished.

Sometimes, hype can be detrimental to a film.
