if a girl was raped, and became pregnant, should she be allowed to have an abortion? ...fully knowing that she wouldn't be able to take care of the baby had she given birth to it...? Well?
Some key questions to consider:
1) Would giving birth to the child be life threatening to the mother?
2)Would the option of adoption be that unacceptable?
Those two questions would make it easier for me to answer. Without those two questions, based on your question alone, I'd say, no I still would not favor an abortion. The trauma associated in killing an unborn child is far... more damaging.. than that of giving one up for adoption.
